TIPS – Inclusive was conceived with an intention to provide a specialized educational environment that will inspire and empower every student with a clear and well structured educational programme for children experiencing challenges such as Attention Deviation Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD), Attention Deviation Disorder (ADD), Dyslexia. We also ensure dynamic transition opportunity to the mainstream curriculum as and when the children are ready. Special education provides students with identified disabilities specialized instruction designed to meet their unique learning needs, giving them the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.

Individualized Educational Programme (IEP)

Individualized Educational Programme aims to reinforce the foundation of learning, help children overcome their learning difficulties and develop their potentials. Individualized Educational Programme includes short-term and long-term teaching objectives, learning steps, and activities.

Speech Therapy

Speech language pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social and cognitive communication. Speech and language program begins with an individual evaluation to assess an individual’s strengths and weakness in speech, language and communication. From this evaluation, the therapist sets goals and works on Receptive and Expressive languages of children with speech issues.

Classroom Inclusion

It is our objective to provide the students with special education needs ,a smooth dynamic transition to the mainstream curriculum, provide opportunities to socialize with own age group,progress the further world of higher education,and make a successful transition to adulthood.

Holistic Development 

Apart from academics and skill building TIPS Special Wing believes on the holistic development of all children. All children are born with innate abilities and talents. With a view to nurture these talents and interest of the children they are exposed to various co-curricular activities.

Art

Art is a medium of expression. Research has consistently demonstrated that involvement in the arts increases student achievement across all subject areas, as well as social and adaptive skills. Students will be exposed to various art and craft activities which are multi-sensory in nature. To allow adequate expression in the context of children with learning difficulties, TIPS also provides exposure towards music and dance. Performing music and dance in front of each other strengthens peer bond and motivates them to improve and also enhances their social interaction and help them to gain confidence.

School Fest

Each year TIPS conducts cultural and sports fests to showcase the talents of the student in music, dance, drama and various games and sports. The participation of the special wing students in these fests will help them to develop team spirit and sportsmanship. The participation in these events is not for challenging the abilities of these children but to explore their talents and give them confidence to perform on a stage without the fear of censure. For our special children it is an opportunity to bloom under the encouragement they would receive from their peer group and parent body.

Sports

Physical activity is as important for children with special needs as it is for any child, which helps to instill a sense of self-confidence and improve skills in relationship building and working as part of a team. Keeping this in mind TIPS provides the sport activities – Swimming, Cycling, soccer, Basketball & Badminton.

Celebrations

As a part of cultural integration TIPS celebrates various festivals of different communities sensitizing the students to the rich cultural diversity of our country. Children with special needs will be an integral part of as all these celebrations. The feeling of oneness that the kids develop during these festivities bring them a pride that they too are an integral part of the community.

PROGRESSION TO HIGHER ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

TIPS ultimate goal is to support our special wing students to reach their optimum level of functioning in academics, social, personal and emotional areas. We aim to fulfil the dream of every special need child and parent to help attain higher education qualification that is Board XII certification. This will give these students a few career optional either in the professional category or in vocational category.

The students can achieve this goal either through academic concessions offered in the CIE and the IB Boards or by enrolling in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
